Please support youth mental health!

For 14 years I was closeted about living with bipolar disorder. In hindsight I realize how damaging it was to me to not share my story with others as it meant I lived in fear and isolation.

Going public about my illness two years ago was the hardest thing that I’ve ever done. Disclosing mental illness can be even more challenging for our children and youth. They need our support!

I am so pleased to be a member and captain of The Bipolar Express. Our team is all about ending the stigma and isolation surrounding mental illness. Please consider joining our team or making a donation.

All of the funds raised will go towards supporting a wonderful and unique program for youth –MOBYSS. It is a youth walk-in clinic in the form of a bus that visits schools and youth shelters. On the bus are a nurse practitioner, mental health worker and peer counselor. Clients afraid to talk to doctors, parents, teachers, etc. are able to visit the clinic to get the help they need in a supportive environment. The clinic has literally saved lives. See below link to learn more.

Thank you!!
