  1. Site Volunteers
Site volunteers are so important to the success of events like Mental Health in Motion! They will be helping set up and tear down tables and chairs, posting signage around the REC and parking lot, helping direct people where to register and ensuring the place stays tidy. Volunteers needed from 6:00-9:00 am, 7:00-10:00 am, 10:00am-2:00 pm
This is a great role for teens who need to get their volunteer hours. You are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts in this role if you would like!
 
  1. Registration
Registration volunteers will be greeting participants, handing out t-shirts, wristbands and race packages.
Volunteers needed from 7:00-11:30 am.
 
  1. Cheerleaders
Looking for enthusiastic-high energy individuals who can help welcome participants, cheer people on as the warm up, start and finish their races. They will also be cheering people on and engaging the crowd during the award ceremony.
Volunteers needed from 8:00am-2:00 pm.
 
  1. Children's Activities
Volunteers in the children’s are will be setting up crafts, assisting children to complete crafts/games and assisting with clean up. Volunteers needed from 9:30am-2:00 pm
 
  1. Food Services
Volunteers will be assisting with stocking the food/coffee tables and distributing items to participants. There is a breakfast shift (7-10) and a lunch shift (10-2). They will also be helping to ensure the area stays tidy. In addition to wearing a mask other safety precautions such as gloves and face shields may be required. Volunteers needed from 7:00-10:00am, 10-2:00 pm
 
  1. Silent Auction
At the Silent Auction volunteers will be helping people place bids, watching over items and helping CMHA staff distribute items at the close of the auction. Volunteers needed from 7:30am-1:30pm
 
  1. Water Stations
Volunteering at the water stations will be coming to the Ray Twinney REC to collect their tables, canopies and water. They will then drive to their station on the route (4 routes: 5 km, 10km, 25km and 60 km), when their race is finished the will need to return the items picked up in the morning to the Ray Twinney REC. Volunteers will need access to vehicle and ability to lift large jugs of water. We recommend bringing a folding lawn chair as well. Volunteers needed from 7:00-11:30am, 9:30-11:30am
 
  1. Walk Wall and Selfie Station

Looking for enthusiastic-high energy individuals for the walk wall and selfie station. They will be encouraging participants to take photos and sign a t-shirt and add it to the walk wall. Volunteers needed from 8:00am-2:00 pm
